A catch-all feature that is activated for a particular e-mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. To put it differently, if you remove an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any miswritten address under the same domain, you will receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial in case you are running a business, for instance. Since you may start receiving spam, you can use the catch-all feature with anti-spam filters in order to get only legitimate email messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.
